Look forward to an evening with Julia Klöckner to discuss the future of the (former?) economic engine of Europe and the impact of current politics and global conflicts.
We will start the evening with a welcome cocktail, an input presentation by Julia Klöckner followed by a discussion and dinner together.
The conference will be held in English.

About Julia Klöckner
Ms Klöckner studied political science, theology and education in Mainz. After her studies, she worked as a journalist and was editor-in-chief of Sommelier-Magazin from 2001 to 2009.
In 2009/2010, Julia Klöckner attended the American Council on Germany's Young Leader Program, a partnership project between the German think tank Atlantik-Brücke and the American Council on Germany for emerging political and economic leaders.
She was Chairwoman of the Rhineland-Palatinate CDU from 2010 to 2022, Vice-Chairwoman of the CDU at federal level from 2012 to 2022 and Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture from 2018 to 2021. Since December 2021, she has been economic spokeswoman for the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag and, since 2022, CDU federal treasurer.
